Firefighters responded to a garage fire in North Manheim Township near Orwigsburg early Tuesday morning.
Around 6:45am, emergency personnel were dispatched to 18 East Second Mountain Road for a possible house fire.
While in route, the chief reported a black column of smoke from a distance and issued a working fire and called for a RIT Team.
When firefighters arrived on scene, they found heavy coming blowing from the roof a garage behind the home.
Additional tanker trucks were called to this fire for water.
As of 10:00am, fire crews were still at the scene cleaning up. A State Police Fire Marshal was called to the scene.
