Frank J. Bartosic
, 85, of Schuylkill Haven passed away Wednesday, December 10, 2025 while at St. Luke’s Hospice House in Bethlehem.

Born November 17, 1940, he was the son of the late Frank and Irene (Matzura) Bartosic.
After graduating from Mt. Carmel High School, Frank went on to serve in the United States Army. Frank was a proud Army Veteran and had trained cadets at West Point.

Frank went on to work for Union Special as a Sales Executive for over 20 years. Frank retired from Penn Sew out of Pittsburgh, working in the same capacity.

Frank was a master of all trades. He could fix anything; if he couldn’t do it, no one could. Frank was an avid golfer. He achieved 9 hole-in-ones and even had an albatross just days before becoming ill. He played in many leagues. The last one being the “Linksters” which he formed many years ago. He watched the league grow to over 40 members.

Frank’s life was defined by his sense of humor. He loved to tell corny jokes and amaze family and friends with his magic tricks; simple gestures that brought joy and wonder to those around him.

Frank will be greatly missed by his companion of 30 years, Joan Kreiser, and beloved dog Echo. He is survived by his sons, Paul Bartosic (Kristen) and Ed Bartosic (Jess); his grandchildren, Emily, Michael, Christopher, Avé, and Aziya; as well as his former wife, Margaret Peletsky. Frank is also survived by his brother, Raymond Bartosic (Mary Ann); a niece, Amanda; and grandniece, Briella.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11:00 A.M. at Grabowski Funeral Home, Schuylkill Haven. A viewing will be held from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the service. Interment with military honors will follow on the grounds of Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Luke’s Hospice House, 2455 Black River Road, Bethlehem, PA 18015.
