Stephen C. Delinko, age 82, of Pottsville, PA, passed away on Thursday, May 5th, 2022 at his home.

Born in Pottsville, PA on December 11, 1939, he was the son of the late Adam and Mildred (Silverstravicz) Delinko.

Steve was a graduate of Pottsville High School, Class of 1957. He was the owner and operator of SCD Welding in Duncott for over 47 years and was a lifetime member of the NRA.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Daniel Delinko.

Steve is survived by his wife of 61 years, Geraldine (Lychock) Delinko, Pottsville; two daughters: Denise Delinko, Scranton and Holly Delinko (Daniel E. Kelly), Seltzer; three grandchildren: Stephen Delinko (Hayley Traynor). Rebecca Grapsy (Kevin O"Connor), and Raymond Grapsy IV (Catie); a sister Susan Marks, Pottsville; and nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Robert A. Evans Jr. Funeral Home in Port Carbon at 7PM on Thursday, May 19th, with Deacon Jack Quirk officiating.

Relatives and Friends are invited to visit with the family on Thursday evening from 5-7PM at the Funeral Home.

Interment will be held private.

Christine Mae Hamm, age 60, of Pottsville, PA passed away Wednesday, May 4th, 2022 at Geisinger St. Luke's Hospital in Orwigsburg.

Born in Pottsville, PA on December 30, 1961, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Helen (Kline) Herndon.

Christine was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Pottsville. She loved spending time with her family and doing crossword puzzles.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 21 years, Edward James Hamm on June 6, 2004, two daughters: Jeanette and Alexander, and a sister Millie Reedy

Christine is survived by four daughters: Sarah Houser, Jade Moyer, Rhiannon Hamm, and Sapphire Schoffstall; three sons: Jeremiah, James, and Dallas Hamm; 13 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; two sisters: Almeda "Moe" Blankenhorn and Mary Opolsky; five brothers: John, Harold, Clarence, William, and Alex Herndon; and many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the Robert A. Evans Jr. Funeral Home in Port Carbon at 5:30PM on Sunday, May 15th, with Rev. Chris Rotharpt officiating.

Relatives and Friends are invited to visit with the family on Sunday afternoon from 4:30-5:30PM at the Funeral Home.

Interment will be held private at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to help take care of Christine's son Dallas @ 112 North Street, Port Carbon, PA 17965.

Charles V. "Buzzy" Thomas
, age 88, of Middleport, PA passed away Tuesday, April 19th, 2022 at VA Medical Center in Lebanon.

Born in Port Carbon, PA on May 27, 1933, he was the son of the late Edward Grey and Mary Theresa (Nicastro) Thomas.

Buzzy served in the U.S. Army. He worked as a Truck Driver for Miller's Distributing in Saint Clair and as a Bus Driver for the Motor Transportation, INC. in Hazleton.

Buzzy was a member of Salem United Methodist Church in Orwigsburg. He enjoyed his annual trips to Ocean City,MD and Myrtle Beach, SC, all of his family gatherings, and playing cards at the Middleport Legion and with his family. Buzzy was an avid football fan of Penn State and the Rams. In his youth, he was an award winning Jitterbugger.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son Eugene Eisenberg, a grandson Alex Simmins, brothers: Robert and William Thomas and Luther Daniel Strausser, and sisters: Shirley McGuire, Regina Piccioni, and Geraldine Hughes.

Buzzy is survived by wife of 46 years Sandy R. Thomas; his four children: Charles Thomas and his wife Natalie, Kevin Thomas and his wife Mary, Ann Marie Reber and her husband Dennis, and Kelly Reichert and her husband Mike; five grandchildren: Jamie Eisenberg, Jordan Thomas, Seth Reichert, Josh Petrozino, and Denyse "Princess" Reber; a great-grandson Taylen Waldrum; his furry red Coon Hound, Farley; and nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the Robert A. Evans Jr. Funeral Home in Port Carbon at 2PM on Monday, April 25th, with Pastor Stacey Gonzalez officiating.

Relatives and Friends are invited to visit with the family on Monday afternoon from 12-2PM at the Funeral Home.

Interment will be held private.

Mae A. Wolfgang Walkinshaw
, 97, of Williamstown, passed away Thursday morning, May 5, 2022 at her home.

Born in Upper Mahanoy Twp., Northumberland County, April 1, 1925, a daughter of the late David L. and Carrie Schlegel Wolfgang.

Mae was a retired seamstress from the former Bobbi Rogers garment factory.

She was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Williamstown and a former member of the Williamstown and Tremont Senior Citizens.

Mae enjoyed sewing, cooking, camping, raising her puppies and her beloved bird Benny, who was a great companion to her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Mark "Schooner" Walkinshaw, 2000, a daughter; Roxanne Alleman, a great grandson; Jarrod Orowski and two great great grandchildren, Riley Isaiah Kreiser and Jayce Elijah Hendricks, her siblings; Ernest, Kenneth and Wayne Wolfgang and Phyllis Bixler.

Surviving are her sister, Helen Snyder, a daughter; Bonita Hawk, seven grandchildren; Diana Greene (Bob), Krista Hawk-Carlow, Jody Hawk (Harry Jarman), Robyn Nolen, Rick Nolen (Janice), Shauna Garcia (Jeremias) and Mandie Alleman, 16 great grandchildren; Keri Splain, Frank Splain III (Kim), William Splain (Sara), Alyssa, Mia and Ana Carlow, Nicci Safar (John Mark), Jessica and Silas Jarman, Brooke Hendricks (Dave), Zakary and Sydney Nolen, Joshua Earhart, Jordyn and Kaia Garcia, 12 great great grandchildren and one great great great grandchild. Nieces and nephews.

Services will be held on Friday, May 13, 2022 at 11:30 am from the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Williamstown. Following the services a luncheon and time of fellowship will be held at the Williamstown American Legion. Mae will be laid to rest privately beside her husband Mark, in the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to the Immanuel Lutheran Church, 141 East Street, Williamstown, PA 17098.
