Monday night was Pottsville's Public Safety Night Out.
The annual event allows First Responders to display their apparatus while the community can get an up and close look.
This year's event included apparatus from the Pottsville Fire Department, vehicles from the Pottsville Police Department and Schuylkill County Sheriff's Office, equipment from the Schuylkill Hose Co. Dive Team, a MedEvac Helicopter from the Lehigh Valley Health Network, an ambulance from Schuylkill EMS, a heavy wrecker from Hammer's Towing, construction equipment, a fire safety trailer, and military vehicles from Fort Indiantown Gap.
