Schuylkill Chamber Helps Shenandoah Pharmacy Celebrate Grand Opening

On Wednesday afternoon, the Schuylkill Chamber of Commerce and local dignitaries helped a new business celebrate it's grand opening.

Pinky Patel and Kunal Patel officially opened the new Shenandoah Pharmacy inside the One Stop at 33 North Main Street in Shenandoah.

The Patels privately own several pharmacies in the Schuylkill County and Eastern Pennsylvania with other locations in Bangor, Hamburg, Marietta, Ringtown, Scranton, and Stroudsburg.

The Shenandoah Pharmacy will offer free delivery with a focus on customer service.

"Our communities are the heart of Schuylkill County and are built on a lot of small communities and we want them to grow and revitalize.  That gets done by ownership and business leaders in their town working very hard build a business." said Chamber President Robert Carl.

Attending Wednesday's ribbon cutting were Schuylkill County Commissioner Baron Hetherington, Downtown Shenandoah Inc. President Karen Kenderdine, Greater Shenandoah Chamber of Commerce Lou Truskowsky, and representatives from Senator Dave Argall's office and Representative Tim Twardzik's Office.
