Three Shenandoah Valley Alumni Inducted into Wall of Fame


As part of the 2022 Shenandoah Valley High School Commencement Exercises held this past Wednesday, three prominent alumni were formally inducted into the Shenandoah Valley Alumni Wall of Fame. 

Prior to receiving their honorary certificates, the inductees addressed the graduating seniors where they offered them advice and congratulations This is the 25th Induction Class which began in 1998.

Listed are the three inductees and an abbreviated resume that appears on their wall plaque.

Dr. Noreen Heffner Chikotas SVHS 1985
  • Pottsville School of Nursing -Registered Nurse
  • Immaculata College – BSN Summa Cum Laude
  • Widener University - MSN Family Nurse Practitioner
  • Pennsylvania State University – Doctorate of Ed.
  • Professor of Nursing Bloomsburg University
  • Acquired $1.3 million grants to assist 54 Student Nurse Practitioners complete their education at Bloomsburg Univ.
