On Friday afternoon, emergency personnel were called to Lake Hauto near the Schuylkill/Carbon County line for a report of male that had been out on a boat and went missing.
Crews searched late into Friday evening until calling off the search because of darkness.
Emergency personnel returned again Saturday but still turned up no result.
But on Sunday morning, the body of Rene Figueroa Jr., 21, of Lansford, was pulled from the Schuylkill County side of the lake.
Schuylkill County Deputy Coroner Andrew Szczyglak was called to the scene and pronounced Figueroa at 11:47am.
Szczyglak said a virtual autopsy will be completed on Sunday.
The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission is in charge of the investigation which is still ongoing.
