This Friday night July 29th at Big Diamond Speedway, the Limited Late Models will make the first of two scheduled visits to the Schuylkill Valley dirt oval.

The Limited Late Models always put on a good show when the visit Big Diamond and this night should be no different. Last season Andrew Yoder and Travis Mease were victorious in the divisions two visits. The Limited Late Models will race for $1,000 to win with $175 to take the green.

The Insigner Performance modifieds will also be in action on Friday night as the race for the 2022 track championship is now tied between Duane Howard and Brett Kressley with Craig Von Dohren not too far behind in third. The weekly action in the modified division has been nothing but superb with hotly contested battles each with amongst the competition.

Competition in the USS Achey Crate 602 Sportsman division has been dominated recently by the top three in points consisting of Brandon Edgar, Danny Buccafusca and Logan Watt. These three drivers battle each week as they race to see who can get to the lead first. However, those are not the only three drivers who have won this season as Talan Carter, James Costlow and Kevin Olenick also have taken the checkered flag in 2022.

With his win last week in the Red White and Blue Autos Roadrunner division, Alex Schoffstall has taken over the top spot in the yearlong point standings. Previous points leader Mike Reichert suffered a DNF last week allowing Schoffstall to leapfrog Reichert to the top. CJ Ferguson and Dave Schultz have shown speed in the past few weeks with both looking for their first win of the season.
