Police Looking to Identify Owner of Motorized Bicycle Involved in Pursuit in Ashland


Police in Ashland are looking to identify the owner of a motorized bicycle after a pursuit.

On Monday evening, Ashland Police responded to male on motorized bicycle that was driving in front of other vehicles and failing to stop at stop lights and stop signs.

The male led police in a chase that ended in the area of the railroad tracks behind the Dollar General near East Centre Street after the suspect ditched the bicycle and fled on foot.

The K9 Unit from Mount Carmel Police responded to assist and track the suspect but was called off after the scent was lost.

The suspect did leave his bicycle behind, pictured above, and police are asking for the public's help in identifying the owner.
