Zdravka George, age 86, of Pottsville, PA passed away Friday, July 15th, 2022 at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Pottsville.

Born in Macedonia, Yugoslavia on January 24, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Spiro and Pricilla (Alexiska) Nickolovski.

Zdravka was the former owner and operator of the Park Restaurant in Shenandoah, a member of St. Mary’s Orthodox Church in Saint Clair, and she loved traveling, cooking, sewing, and knitting.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Metody George on October 16, 2000.

Zdravka is survived by two daughters: Milka DeLellis and her partner Todd Cleary, New Jersey and Sue Adams and her partner Gary Moser, Pottsville; grandchildren: Ian and Alec Adams, Alicyn DeLellis, Angela Coulson and her husband Zach, Allison Tenaglia and her husband Phil, Meghan and Erin Cleary, and Lindsey Moser; great-grandchildren: Calvin and Dean Coulson; and two brothers in Macedonia.

Funeral Services will be held at the Robert A. Evans Jr. Funeral Home in Port Carbon at 11AM on Monday, July 25th

Relatives and Friends are invited to a viewing on Monday morning from 9-11AM at Robert A. Evans Jr. Funeral Home.

Interment will be held in the Odd Fellows Cemetery in St. Clair.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.

Jane E. Workman, 61, of Joliett, passed away suddenly Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at the Hershey Medical Center.

Born in Pottsville, November 16, 1960, a daughter of the late Neal and Thelma Boyer Workman. Jane was a 1978 graduate of Williams Valley High School.

She was last employed in the housekeeping department at Ft. Indiantown Gap.

She enjoyed spending time at camp along the river, gardening and her dog Jade.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by an infant son Kyle Koperna.

Surviving are her two children, Justin D. Koperna and his wife Stacy, Williamstown and Ashley C. Recchione and her husband Steve, Jr., Tower City; three grandchildren; Colton, Hunter and Kasper, her companion with whom she resided, Joel Stephany, three brothers; her twin, Jamie Workman and his wife Cindy, Williamstown, Butch Kolva and his wife Judy, Tremont and Terry Boyer and his wife Kathy, Tower City. Several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Jane's life will be held on Thursday, July 21, 2022 at 6:00 pm from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home, Inc., with Pastor Annette Shutt officiating.
