Police and Humane Officials are investigating an incident in Cass Township.
According to Cass Township Police, they are actively working on an investigation with Reading Anthracite Security and Hillside SPCA on an incident on Reading Anthracite Property near Thomaston Road.
Police say an adult dog, possibly a pit bull mix, and seven puppies were found in an old mine shaft.
