Christmas at the Clubhouse
After a 2-year hiatus, the Christmas celebration at Sweet Arrow Lake returns on December 10, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. in the clubhouse. There’s no better way to celebrate than with great music from the M&J Jazz Combo who will join us for our Sweet Arrow holiday program. Come in out of the cold and enjoy light refreshments in front of the fire.
Sponsored by the Sweet Arrow Lake Conservation Association this program is free and open to the public and is made possible with a grant from the Schuylkill Area Community Foundation.
Winter Walk at Sweet Arrow Lake County Park
Enjoy a winter walk through the woodlands of Sweet Arrow Lake County Park on Sunday, December, 11, 2022, 2:00-4:00 p.m. while learning how to identify the more common trees in Schuylkill County.See the tree characteristics of dormant tree species, such as the buds, twigs and other clues which aid in identifying trees in their winter state.
The program will be conducted Frank Snyder, retired and certified arborist. Meet at the Large Pavilion near the clubhouse. Be sure to dress for the weather. This program is free and open to the public.
All ages are welcome! The program is sponsored by the Schuylkill County Conservancy.
