Drug and Weapon Investigation Leads to Arrest of New Ringgold Man


A New Ringgold man is locked up in Schuylkill County Prison after an investigation revealed he was in possession of weapons and various illegal drugs.

According to West Penn Township Police, information was received by the West Penn Police Department of drug sales and weapons occurring at 47 Mush Dahl Road, New Ringgold, West Penn Township. 

The resident of the home was found to be 32-Year-Old, Jason H. Hill, who was on active state parole. 

Information was provided to State Parole, who did a home visit of Hill on October 25, 2022, with officers of the West Penn Township providing exterior security for the probation officers. 

During their home visit, Probation officers discovered a firearm in the residence and turned the incident over to the West Penn Township Police. 

Hill did consent to the West Penn Township Police for a search of the residence. 

During that search, several weapons were recovered including 1 with an obliterated serial number. Also found at the residence were brass knuckles, multiple boxes of ammunition, Crystal Methamphetamine, Heroin, numerous baggies with heroin residue, marijuana grinders, pipes, needles, a large quantity of packaging materials, and 6 scales. 

Hill was charged by West Penn Township Police with persons not to possess a firearm, possessing a firearm with altered number, possession of drugs with intent to deliver, possession of offensive weapons, crimes committed with firearms, and other charges. 

Hill was arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Andrew J Serina in Orwigsburg and committed to the Schuylkill County Prison in lieu of $100,000 straight bail.
