Michael E. Fannick
born October 3, 1959, passed away peacefully at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Muhlenberg, PA on Monday November 21, 2022. Mike or “Papa” as he was known best by all the children in the neighborhood. He lived for his grandchildren, also playing a large role in raising his nine-year-old granddaughter Elena. There isn’t a man in this world that will or can replace him.

He was a son of the late Julia (Troyanoski) & Michael G Fannick. Mike was a 1977 graduate of North Schuylkill. Mike is survived by his brother David W Fannick & his fiancĂ© Diane L Ketusky. Mike’s daughters Rachel Hidlay (wife of Travis) & Leah Fannick, and their mother Robin Kline. Grandchildren Turner, Jane, Cole & Elena. Nieces, Ashley & Emily Fannick. Friends, Angela Elsavage & Deryl Wolfgang, Matthew & Roxana Zoppetti, Cousin Dave (Wood) Matta & wife Barb, Georgene Anthony, Barbi & Brian Rowe and their daughter Brianna and many other good friends and family.

Mike loved helping everyone he could. He was a master plumber by trade and was owner of Master Supply Hardware, Frackville & Mickeys Wholesale, Catawissa. He will be remembered for making you laugh whenever he could and lending a helpful hand to so many in his life. He will be greatly missed by all.

Mike was an expert target shooter in his youth. Mike was an avid power sports fan, loving motorcycles, especially his Harley, old cars and snow mobiles. He enjoyed spending time at Motorsports and More Kawasaki, Suzuki with Michael Little and George Kerner.

Religious Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday morning at the Albert L. Gricoski Funeral Home, Frackville, with Rev. Petro Zvarych, of St. Michael’s Ukrainian Catholic Church as celebrant. Relatives and Friends are invited to visitation from 9 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home Saturday morning. Interment will be in St. Michael’s Parish Cemetery, Englewood/Frackville.

The family & friends would like to thank Lehigh Valley Hospital and especially Dr. John Mannisi, MD, a truly caring individual, whose care kept Mike going for many years. Dale W Clark, 62, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Monday, November 21st, at home.
 
Born in Muskegon, MI on August 15, 1960, a son of the late Mary Ellen (Krammes) and Arthur W. Clark.

Dale was the husband of Brenda (King) Clark for 30 years.

He worked in construction at Wagman Incorporated in York, PA.

Dale loved hunting, fishing, going to camp, and Nascar.

Dale is survived by three daughters, Alicia Hope Kintzel, of Pottsville; Tori, wife of James Hancock, of Pine Grove; a son, Jeremiah Clark, of Schuylkill Haven; a stepdaughter, Michele, wife of Mark Mamrosh, of Pottsville; and a stepson, Gary Young Jr., of Ohio. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, Felicia, Ashley, Emma, Peyton, Alannah, Devin, Aislin, Nicolas, and Cooper and a sister Terry Hughes.

In addition to his parents, Dale is preceded in death by his sister Sandi Greish.

The family prefers remembrances in the form of contributions to Kettle Creek Tamarack Sportsmen's Association, President John Ross, at 17 Macs Lane Renovo, PA 17764.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.

Albert Czap
, 82, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Saturday, November 19th, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Schuylkill, E. Norwegian St., Pottsville.
 
Albert was born in Bethlehem, PA on December 25, 1939, a son of the late Ann (Denbitsky) and GezaCzap.

He was the widower of Linda S. (Smith) Czap. Preceded in death by his first wife Kathryn Czap who died in 2000, a daughter Stacie Deutscher and a stepson Christopher Durst.

He was a member of St. James Episcopal Church Schuylkill Haven PA.

He served in the U.S. Marines reserves.

Al last worked in theBethlehem Steel for 32 years, in Bethlehem and Burns Harbor In Indiana. Also worked for the parks department for the city of Bethlehem after being in the service

He is survived by a son Christopher Scott Czap Indiana, stepson Jason Durst, Brother Michael Czap of Palmerton, sister Annette Kilpatrick Harrisburg, 6 grandchildren, step grandaughter Emily Durst and his companion Barbara Heffner.

Interment will be in St. Patrick's Cemeteries Pottsville with a memorial service to be announced at a later date.

Roy Ronald "Hatch" Hatter, 75, of Pine Grove, passed away on Monday, November 21, 2022, in Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Born on February 8, 1947, in Donaldson, Frailey Twp., he was a son of the late Roy E. and Mary M. Clouser Hatter.

He was a member of St. Peter's UCC, Tremont.

Roy was a chemical mixer and later a custodian at Guilford Mills/Penn Dye, Pine Grove.

He enjoyed fly fishing and hunting.

Preceding him in death were three brothers, Barry Hatter, George Clark and Carey Clark; and six sisters, June Hatter, Doris Hancotte, Olga Ganderton, Joanne Clouser, Blanche Fetterolf and Marilyn O'Doherty.

Surviving are his wife of 51 years, Nancy Klinger Hatter; four daughters, Mary and husband David Mease, Jr. of Pine Grove, Anna and husband Robert Clark of Womelsdorf, Denise and husband Anthony Wagner of Tremont, Michelle and husband Ernest Lempfert of Gilberton; 9 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and one due in February; two brothers, Robin "Mick" and wife Patricia Hatter, Randy and wife Dorothy Hatter, both of Donaldson; nieces and nephews.

Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, December 1, 2022, at 11:00 A.M. at the H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc. Pine Grove with Pastor Claude Schach officiating. There will be a visitation on Thursday, December 1, 2022, from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow in St. Matthew's Lutheran Cemetery, Pine Grove.

In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions be made to St. Peter's UCC, 57 Spring St. Tremont, Pa. 17981 in his memory.

Charles C. Bachert, 57, of Orwigsburg, passed away on Monday, November 21, 2022, in Geisinger St. Lukes in Orwigsburg.

Born on July 21, 1965, in Pottsville, he was a son of Nancy Wendling Bachert and the late Harold T. Bachert, Sr.

Charles was a Delivery Driver for Standard Dairy Nutrition, Orwigsburg.

Surviving, in addition to his mother, are three brothers, Harold T. Jr. and wife Deb Bachert, Henry and wife Heather Bachert, both of Schuylkill Haven, Ronald Bachert of Pine Grove; a sister, Carol Bachert of Pine Grove; two nephews, Andrew and wife Kassie Bachert, and Joshua Bachert; a niece Kaitlyn Bachert; two great nephews, Aidan and Aaron Bachert; two aunts, an uncle and cousins.

All Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Hetzel's Cemetery, Pine Grove.

In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions be made to the Hospice of Central PA, 1320 Linglestown Rd. Harrisburg, Pa. 17110 in his memory.

James J. Bynon, II, 51 years of age, of Tamaqua, Pennsylvania died on Saturday, November 6, 2022, at St. Luke's Carbon Campus in Lehighton, Pennsylvania.

Born Monday, November 30, 1970 in Palmerton, Pennsylvania.

Surviving are; father, James J. Bynon Sr., sons, James J. Bynon, III, Zaden J. Bynon; daughters, Ashley N. Bynon, Mary A. Bynon; brother, Michael R. Bynon; granddaughter, Isabella M. Keim; fiancée, Lisa Marton. Many aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive James.

James was predeceased by; mother, Marsha M. (Valentine) Bynon; brother, Matthew M. Bynon; maternal grandparents, James, and Kathleen Valentine; paternal grandmother, Virginia Bynon.

A Tamaqua Area High School graduate, James had worked as a mechanic. James enjoyed listening to music, and was often seen adorning his Celtic Kilt. James constant companions where his Great Danes, Luccie, and Champ.
