Jeanette E. Freiwald, 96, of New Ringgold, passed away Tuesday, November 22nd, at Seton Manor Orwigsburg.
 
Jeanette was born in Kingston, PA on September 5, 1926, a daughter of the late Mary (Kasperek) and Michael Siluk.

She was the widow of Herman W. Freiwald. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church Schuylkill Haven.

She is survived by her four sons Robert Freiwald, husband of Karen of CA; Thomas Freiwald, widower of Paula of SC; Jeffery Freiwald, husband of Tammy, of New Ringgold, PA; Jerry Freiwald, husband of Barbara, of Lake Wynonah, PA; and a brother, Michael Siluk

She is also survived by 12 Grandchildren and 18 Great Grandchildren, numerous nieces & nephews.

She was preceded in death by an infant daughter Beverly, sons David & Richard Freiwald and Brothers Stanley, John, Frank & Leonard Siluk.

Barbara A. Kedell
, 77, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away on Saturday, November 19 at Orwigsburg Center.

Born on October 19, 1945 in Bedford, she was a daughter of the late Edward Kedell and the late Julia (nee Strait) Irvin. She was a 1962 graduate of Bedford High School and trained as a Practical Nurse, attaining her license in 1980. She worked in social services until retiring.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Juliana Pritiskutch, in 2017; a sister, Lisa Irvin.

Barbara is survived by her son, Peter Pritiskutch, Schuylkill Haven; five grandchildren, Tyler Pritiskutch, Jacob McGovern, Peter Pritiskutch, Carson Pritiskutch and Elleona Pritiskutch. She is also survived by three siblings, Willa Irvin, Peoria, AZ, Jodi Oxenreider (spouse, Eric), Shamokin, and Edward Kincaid (spouse, Karin), Providence, RI; nieces and nephews.

The family will accept visitors at Dutcavich Funeral Home, 200 Sunbury Street, Minersville, on Friday from 6:00 P.M. and on Saturday from Noon until services at 2:00 P.M. Interment will be in St. Stanislaus Kostka #2 Cemetery, Branch Township.

Mary Ann Pekarik, 77, of Minersville, passed away on Monday, November 14, at Schuylkill Center.

Born on October 30, 1945 in Pottsville, she was the daughter of the late William and Ida (nee Martin) Petravich. She was educated at the former St. Francis Orphanage; and worked in the local garment industry.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Michelle “Mel” Pekarik, on April 8.

Mary Ann is survived by her husband of 55 years, John “Jake” Pekarik.

Services are private. Dutcavich Funeral Home has charge.
