Law enforcement seized hundreds of thousands of dollars in drugs on Friday during a drug bust in Schuylkill County.
On Friday, February 24th, 2023, members of the Pennsylvania State Police and Schuylkill County District Attorney's Office, Drug Task Force conducted a joint investigation which resulted in the execution of two Court-Authorized Search and Seizure Warrants on locations within the Borough of St. Clair and East Norwegian Township.
Seized during the search of the residences were a substantial of contraband including:
- $16,840 in United State Currency
- Approximately 1,350 grams of suspected marijuana with an estimated street value over $8,000
- Approximately 145 grams of suspected cocaine with an estimated street value over $14,000
- Approximately 13 lbs. of methamphetamine with an estimated street value over $310,000
- Four firearms
During the searches, Joanne Stefanie Noble, 45, of St. Clair was taken into custody as a result of active arrest warrants.
The investigation was part of a larger, on-going narcotics trafficking investigation being conducted by the Schuylkill County District Attorney's Office, Drug Task Force, and the Pennsylvania State Police. The investigation is still continuing.
Additional charges will be filed at a later date relating to the seizure of these drugs.
