On Tuesday, the PA Game Commission will be conduction a controlled burn in Berks County near the Schuylkill County line.
The Game Commission will be conducting a 200-acre prescribed fire on State Game Lands 106 in Windsor Township, Berks County (near the Schuylkill County line) Tuesday, February 14th, 2023.
The prescribed fire will be occurring north of the parking area near the Port Clinton Fire Tower.
The burn is being conducted to maintain the oak forest habitat found in this area of the Game Lands.
Smoke will be visible on the Blue Mountain near Orwigsburg and New Ringgold between 10 AM and 6 PM.
