Pine Grove Police took a wanted man into custody in relation to a domestic incident.
According to Pine Grove Police, on March 29th, 2023, Cpl Vandermartin was at 82 South Tulpehocken Street on a separate Harassment issue when he recognized Tyrell Murphy, 31, of Pine Grove inside the home doing remodeling work.
Cpl Vandermartin was aware of a felony arrest warrant that was just issued for Murphy by the Pine Grove Police Department after a domestic incident on March 28th, 2023. The charges Murphy was wanted on included aggravated assault, simple assault, terroristic threats, harassment.
Murphy was taken into custody and arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Rossi and locked up in Schuylkill County Prison on $75,000 straight cash bail.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled before Judge Rossi on April 5th, 2023.
