A fire that damaged two homes in New Philadelphia on Saturday is under investigation.
The fire broke out around 3:30pm, on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at 36 Water Street.
Fire crews arrived to find heavy fire blow from the home and spreading to next door to 34 Water Street.
The fire severely damaged both homes.
The fire displaced one person who is being assisted by the American Red Cross.
A State Police Fire Marshal was called to the scene to investigate a cause. An update from the Frackville Barracks late Sunday stated the cause and origin of the fire was still under investigation.
