North Schuylkill Spartan Band Announces Accomplishments

The North Schuylkill Band announced several recent accomplishments.

Three North Schuylkill High School “Spartan” Marching Band members participated in the Pennsylvania State University Marching Blue Band’s Forward March program. This program is run in conjunction with the annual Blue - White Spring Football game and allows high school students from all over the country the opportunity to experience what a typical game day is like for a member of the Penn State Blue Band. Representing the band program were percussionist Joseph Campbell, mellophone player Regan Campbell, and piccolo player Ravena Singh.

North Schuylkill High School Spartan Band flutist Erika Trexler was selected for the Pennsylvania All-State Lions Band International Tour to Boston, Massachusetts. She will participate in rehearsals at Gettysburg College, and later perform in Boston, Massachusetts for the 105th Lions Club International Convention from July 4-12, 2023.

“Members of the North Schuylkill “Spartan” Marching Band performed at the Fountain Springs Child Development’s Drum-A Thon, last Thursday, April 13, 2023. High School students demonstrated their instruments for the preschoolers, and then they joined forces to play some tunes together.
