Patricia Shawn Sincavage
, beloved wife of Edward Joseph Sincavage, preceded us to heaven on Monday, April 24. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her mother Marie Johnson, son Christopher Sincavage, grandson Dominic Borelli, Jr, granddaughters Adelia and Rowan Sincavage, aunts Beverly Sincavage and Catherine Maley Kimmel, and cousins Patrick and Michael Maley. She was preceded in death by her son Edward Sincavage and daughter Fallon Sincavage and by grandparents Francis J. and Mary A. Moran, all of Pottsville, and grandparents Joseph and Eileen Sincavage of Ashland.

God graced Patricia with the gifts of love and joy and laughter. She had a deep reverence for her Creator, which she mirrored in the love with which she shared her gifts with friends and family. She gave freely of herself, laughing in moments of joy, supporting others in times of sorrow. He gave her a sense of adventure and a deep appreciation for His creations. She loved to travel with her Eddie, to experience those wonders for herself, yet share them with family and friends. She and her Ed traveled together, went off on quests to discover forgotten treasures, and brought them back to life in the book he helped her write. She encouraged her family and friends to follow their hearts, to find their inner strengths and apply them to their own lives. She leaves us bereft of her presence, yet comforted by her legacy of warm memories and secure in the faith that, in God's mercy, we will be reunited.

Private interment and mass at St. Patrick's Church will be held at a future date at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the care of James E. Humphrey Funeral Home, Pottsville.
