A pedestrian struck in Pottsville on Thursday morning has died from their injuries.

The incident occurred around 10:30am on Thursday on Nichols Street when a man was struck by vehicle.
The man was taken to the Lehigh Valley Hospital Schuylkill Hospital in Pottsville for his injuries. The Schuylkill County Coroners Office would later be called to the hospital due to the victim passing away.
Nichols Street has been closed while investigators are at the scene.
