Born in Coaldale on Monday, April 7, 1947 the son of the late Arthur, and Alberta (Lusky) Miller, Arthur was raised in Hometown.
Surviving are; his son, Jason W. Miller of Lansford; daughter, Jen Miller and her partner Doug Yoder who where his caregivers of Nesquehoning; grandson Aaron Miller; former wife, Donna Green of Lansford.
A Tamaqua High School graduate, Arthur was self employed having owned North American Van Lines in Hometown for many years. He had worked for the Capital Police in Washington D.C, and also had served as Chief of Police in Rush Township. As a lifelong dog owner, Arthur spent his retirement years adopting older dogs from shelters, he enjoyed the companionship of his dog Achilles.
Funeral Arrangements entrusted to the E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. of 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pennsylvania 18252.
Graveside Services will be held Thursday April 6, 2023 at noon, Sky-View Memorial Park 149 Lafayette Ave. Tamaqua, Pennsylvania.
