The event is held for all Mahanoy City mothers 70 years of age and older. Mothers over the age of 90 are honored at the head table.
Service Electric proudly sponsors the meal every year and M&T bank sponsors the hall rental. Mothers enjoyed a fully catered meal by Francesco’s Restaurant, flowers arrangements and chest corsages from Wendi’s flowers. Matthew Reed & Kathy Wufsus provided entertainment for the event.
Pennsylvania State Representative Dane Watro also attended the event.
