One person was transported after a two-vehicle crash on the Pottsville/Minersville Highway on Friday.
Around 6:30pm, Friday, May 12, 2023, emergency personnel were dispatched to 2730 Pottsville Minersville Highway, Branch Township, for a report of a rollover crash. Firefighters arrived to find a black SUV on its roof in the middle of the roadway.Witnesses at the scene said a white sedan was pulling to the side of the roadway when the SUV struck the sedan, causing the SUV to roll onto its roof.
Both drivers were reported to have sustained minor injuries, with the driver of the SUV being transported to an area hospital.
