Route 924 is closed due to a crash in East Union Township.
Around 1:15pm, Monday, emergency personnel from Sheppton and Mahanoy City were called to the area of Main Boulevard (Route 924) and Mahanoy City Mountain Road in East Union Township for a report of a tractor trailer rollover with entrapment.
Emergency personnel arrived on and found a tractor trailer on its side and the driver self extricated from the vehicle.
As of 3:00pm, Route 924 northbound was closed at the Ringtown Boulevard/Shenandoah Highway intersection just north of Shenandoah while crews work to clear the scene.
