Harriet Ann Pellegrino
, 80. of Minersville, formerly of Frackville, passed away on Sunday night at her home with her family by her side.

Born in Pottsville, she was the daughter of the late Mark and Anne (nee Dulski) Bowman. She was a 1960 graduate of Frackville High School. In addition to raising her family, she worked in the local garment industry, and had been employed as a waitress at Vernalis Restaurant, Shenandoah. She last worked as a Nurse’s Aide at White Owl Manor.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Pellegrino; a daughter, Donna McKenzie; her brother, Donald Bowman.

Harriet is survived by her remaining children, Jo Anne Klemow (spouse, Marc), Frackville, Debbie Snyder (spouse, Leo), Frackville, Harry Dillman (spouse, Brenda), Harrisburg, Lori Shimko (spouse, Stephen), Frackville, and Linda Bybell (companion, Gene Perkins), Minersville; fourteen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a niece; a nephew.

Funeral services will be held at Zion Lutheran Church, 33 South Broad Mountain Avenue, Frackville, on Wednesday at 10:00 A.M. Interment will follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery, West Mahanoy Township. The family prefers contributions to The Gettysburg Foundation, 1195 Baltimore Pike, Gettysburg, PA 17325. Dutcavich Funeral Home has charge.

Patricia A. "Patti" DeLay
, mother, sister, grammy, 70 years of age, of E. Union Street Tamaqua, Pennsylvania passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 7, 2023, upon arrival at Lehigh Valley Hospital Salisbury Twp.

Born Thursday, December 18, 1952 in Coaldale, Pennsylvania. The daughter of the late Francis, and Eleanor (Kline) Sherry. Predeceased by her husband, William H. DeLay on September 29, 2022; brother, Gary Sherry.

Surviving are daughter, Angela A. Xander wife of Chad of New Tripoli; brother, Fran Sherry; sisters, Ann Houseman, Kathy Nunemacher wife of Ron; grandson Aden whom she adored. Patti was also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

A 1970 graduate of Tamaqua Area High School, Patti had worked in the textile Industry, at the former Acme Market, and White Birch Golf Course before settling in as Office Manager at Sky-View Memorial Park in Hometown. Patti’s world circled around her family. Tending to her late husband Bill, reveling in her daughter Angela's accomplishments, and embracing her role as grammy to Aden. She enjoyed crocheting, scrapbooking, family events, and the friendship of her beagle Maggie. Patti was a member of St. John XXIII R.C.C. of Tamaqua.

Anella H. Dianese
, 60 years of age, formerly of Tamaqua, passed away after a long battle against Muscular Sclerosis on Sunday, August 6, 2023, at Rosewood Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in Schuylkill Haven, Pennsylvania.

Born Saturday, June 15, 1963 in Rodio, Italy the daughter of the late Dominico Dianese. Anella is survived by; mother, Gerda (Wurm) Dianese; son, Austin R. Fogel and his wife Tayler; brother, Rosario Dianese sisters, Isabella White wife of Bill, Helena Ruzicka wife of Eric; grandchildren, Nova, and Ryker; father to her sons, Brian C. Fogel and many nieces and nephews.

Anella was also predeceased by; her son, Brandon D.R. Fogel on October 28, 2022.

Born in Italy, Anella worked with her father in his Pizza Shops. She was a devoted loving mother. Upon her diagnosis she vowed to fight to see her boys graduate, and become independent. She was able to accomplish that goal. An animal lover, she enjoyed the companionship of her dog Cassey. Anella liked doing hair, reading, spending time sunbathing and visiting family. Her strength, compassion, and perseverance has served as a role model for her boys, aunts, and cousins.

Irvin S. Koons
, age 62, of Hegins, passed away Sunday, August 6, 2023, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. He was born on Sunday, May 14, 1961, in Pottsville, PA, a son of the late Clair and Marguerite Koons. Irvin was employed at Sherman Mountain Coal Company, Tremont. He was a member of the Hegins Trap Club and the Elysburg Gun Club.

He was preceded in death by his father, Clair Koons and mother, Marguerite Smith Koons. Irvin is survived by his wife Mary (Brown) Koons, he is also survived by two sons, Zane Koons, Jacob Koons; daughter, Mary Koons; grandson, Synary Grose.

Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 19, 2023, at 11:00 am, at the Hegins Trap Club.
