As of 12:30pm, Wednesday, Interstate 78 eastbound remains closed after a crash earlier in the morning.
The crash occurred in Lehigh County around 5:40am and involves three tractor trailers and an SUV.
Westbound traffic was closed earlier but is now open.
Eastbound is closed beginning at the Hamburg exit and extends all the way to the Fogelsville Exit.
The highway is expected to be closed for an extended period of time.
