A Schuylkill Haven man was transported to the hospital after a crash in Wayne Township earlier this week.
According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Schuylkill Haven, the crash occurred around 10:20am on Wednesday, October 11th, 2023, on Route 183 just south of the intersection with Johns Road.
Police say Gerald Jenkins, 56, of Schuylkill Haven was driving an International Harvester Truck and overturned it due to not driving at a safe speed.
Jenkins was entrapped in the overturned vehicle and had to be rescued by emergency personnel.
He was transported to an area hospital via Schuylkill EMS with unknown injuries.
State Police cited Jenkins for the crash.
