Schuylkill Technology Center Students 3D Print Regional Spelling Bee Medal

Students enrolled in the Electro-Mechanical Technology Program at the North Campus of Schuylkill Technology Center utilize the Fusion3 3D Printer purchased with grant funds from TE Connectivity Ltd to make medals for the Northeast PA Manufacturers and Employers Council Regional Spelling Bee.
The Northeast PA Manufacturers & Employers Council is the sponsor of the Regional Spelling Bee held in partnership with Scripps National Spelling Bee and Schuylkill Technology Center, which will include students in grades 5th through 8th grade from Schuylkill County School Districts. Each student competing in the Regional Bee will receive a medal made by STC Students to commemorate their participation.

The Business Partner Management ("BPM") Program Grant is organized around the shared values of workforce development and mutual success. “This collaborative project enables STC students to apply their technical skills to create something that recognizes the academic achievement of county middle school students, and it is all made possible by the TE Connectivity Grant”, said Shannon Brennan, Director of Schuylkill Technology Center.
