The Schuylkill League has announced this week's candidates for Athlete of the Week.
This week's candidates are:
- Natalie Vermillion (Panther Valley Volleyball)
- 45 Digs & 31 Kills this week
- She also earned her 500th dig this week
- Kaden Onuschak (North Schuylkill Soccer)
- On Thursday night, as goalkeeper, he set a new single season record for the Spartans with his 6th shutout. The previous record was held for 24 years. Thursday night was Kaden's 8th career shutout, which is also a new school record.
- Luke Stevenosky (Minersville Football)
- 28 Carries, 233 yard, 3 touchdowns, 2 receptions for 8 yards
- Set single season rushing touchdown record (currently at 27)
- Set career touchdown record (currently at 51)
- Set career points scored record (currently at 310)
- Rosa Gergely (Blue Mountain Volleyball)
- 49 kills, 8 aces, 22 assists, 85 digs
