An Ashland teen is facing charges for allegedly raping a woman in Dauphin County.
According to information released by the Pennsylvania State Police at Lykens, Chad Sonnon, 18, of Ashland, is locked up in Dauphin County Prison on charges of Felony Rape, sexual assault, and aggravated indecent assault, as well as misdemeanor indecent assault and simple assault.
The charges stem from an incident where Sonnon raped a 20-year-old female.
Troopers from the PSP Lykens Crime Unit took him into custody in Ashland on Thursday, November 2nd, 2023 and transported to Dauphin County Prison.
He was arraigned later in the day by Judge Joseph S. Lindsey and locked up on $250,000 straight cash bail.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for November 13th, 2023.
