Boil Water Advisory Issued for a Portion of Pottsville

The Schuylkill County Municipal Authority has issued a boil advisory for a portion of the City of Pottsville.

The alert is due to a water main break on Peacock Street.

Customers of SCMA on the following streets in Pottsville are asked to boil their water until further notice:

• Peacock Street: All Homes
• Beckers Street: All Homes
• West Railroad Street: 583-630
• Eagan Street: All Homes
• Seltzer Road: 668-749
• New Street: All Homes
• New Street Circle: All Homes
• John McGovern Road: All Homes
