The Girardville St. Patrick's Day Parade Committee has announced that the 2024 edition has been postponed but an alternative event is in the works.
The parade's web site was updated Wednesday to state "Due to unforeseen circumstances Girardville will NOT hold a Saint Patrick's Day Parade this year! We are however, working on having a Saint Patrick's Day Block Party.
The parade was scheduled to take place March 24th, 2024. No other details have been made available on when the block party will take place.
