The Coaldale Police Department reports that on January 9th, 2024, they were contacted by the FBI for a reported threat made on an online video game chat.
The 14-year-old suspect from Coaldale reportedly wrote: "I'm going to shoot up my school."
The suspect's IP address was tracked to an address in Coaldale.
Officers responded and contacted the homeowner, and a 14-year-old juvenile confessed to the incident, according to police. The juvenile was arrested and charged with terroristic threats.
