Barnesville Man Wanted by Schuylkill County Detectives



Schuylkill County Detectives are looking for a Barnesville man wanted on several warrants.

Benjamin Franklin Vadiz, 53, has two active bench warrants against him stemming from separate incidents.

According to authorities, Vadiz failed to appear at the Courthouse for a Status Conference scheduled on June 23, 2023. The initial charges in this instance include Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Fentanyl – a Felony, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Fentanyl – classified as a Misdemeanor, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia – also a Misdemeanor.

Additionally, Vadiz is implicated in another case where he missed a scheduled Jury Selection on September 5, 2023. The charges in this matter are severe and involve Contraband-Controlled Substance in Prison - Fentanyl, classified as a Felony 2, along with Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver - Fentanyl, also a Felony. Furthermore, he faces charges of Possession of Controlled Substance (including Fentanyl, Methamphetamine, Cocaine, and Marijuana) – all classified as Misdemeanors, as well as Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Vadiz is described as described as a White, Non-Hispanic male standing at 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing approximately 225 lbs,  with a last known address of 832 Barnesville Drive, Barnesville.
