Mary Theresa Gregis, 66, of Frackville passed away Jan 24, 2024 at Wilkes Barre General Hospital. 

Born March 29, 1957 she was the daughter of the late Alex and Helen Zuby Gregis. "Mary T" graduated from North Schuylkill High School, Class of 1975 . Mary moved to New Jersey in 1981 and retired from Merck & Co. after 35 years as a fire technician to be closer to family. Mary took pride in her gardens and plants in her yard, enjoying many nights with good music around the firepit or on the deck. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers Joseph, Matthew and Dave as well as her companion Paul Spearnock.

Mary leaves behind a brother Alex and niece Michelle of Girardville, nephew Brian and wife of New Jersey, and niece Maggie and husband of Pennsylvania and close friends Bea and Steve Peleschak, also Ken and Jen Snyder, who were kind enough to take in her beloved dogs Max, Sasha and Ben.

Mary will be laid to rest in St. Vincent's Cemetery, Englewood, Frackville.

Services are private.

Ferris R. Dissinger
, 81, of Branchdale, formerly of Pine Grove, passed away on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at home.

Born on June 18, 1942 in Wayne Township, he was a son of the late Rubert R. and Dorothy F. Hain Dissinger.

He was a 1960 graduate of Pine Grove Area High School.

Ferris was a Supervisor at North American Refractories in Womelsdorf before starting Ferris Dissinger fur shop in 1973, where he bought and sold rawhides and furs for 40 years..

He was a member of the PA Trappers Association, where he was President from 1978 to 1985, a member of the NRA and a member of the North America Collectors Association. He loved the outdoors, hunting fishing, trapping, and working in the yard. He was also an avid Phillies Fan.

Preceding him in death, in addition to his parents, was a brother Duane Dissinger.

Surviving are his daughter, Christine and husband David Yunkunis of Larksville; two grandchildren, David Yunkunis of Ballston, NY, Tara Yunkunis and husband Jeremy Klinger of Philadelphia; a great grandson, Maximus Yunkunis Klinger; his longtime fiancé and companion of 27 years, Joanne Bingaman and her son Joseph and wife Cheryl Bingaman and their children, Brad and Devin Bingaman; Heather Donati, who was like a daughter to him and her children, Christian and wife Brittany Donati, Brandon and wife Shelby Donati, Kyle Donati and grandchildren, Frankie and Mason Donati.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at 11:00 A.M., at the H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., Pine Grove with Pastor Barry Spatz officiating. There will be a viewing on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Pine Grove.

Denise A. Fetter, 55 years of age of Penn Street Tamaqua, Pennsylvania passed away on Monday, February 26, 2024 at Lehigh Valley Hospital Salisbury Township.

Born Saturday, October 5, 1968 in Pottsville, Pennsylvania. The daughter of the late Richard C., Sr., and Dolores (Yarnell) Gernert. Denise was also predeceased by; son, Christopher Charles Fetter; brother, Richard C. Gernert, Jr.

Surviving are; her husband of 35 years, Terry C. Fetter; son, Jeffrey A. Fetter; brother, Paul Yarnell. Many nieces and nephews also survive Denise.

A Tamaqua High School graduate, Denise worked as a Supervisor for the Schuylkill Center in Pottsville overseeing the Laundry. Denise was a gamer in her downtime.
