Schuylkill Technology Center Students Construct Diesel Tech Classroom

Students enrolled in the Masonry and Carpentry Programs at the North Campus of Schuylkill Technology Center utilized the skills learned in their study program to construct a new Diesel Technology Classroom.

Masonry students installed a reinforced block wall with window openings and horizontal joint reinforcements to tooth the concrete masonry into an existing wall system. 

The team installed bond-beam lintels and anchor bolts and utilized low-lift grouting techniques to create an expanded theory classroom for the Diesel Program.
