Frackville Man Charged After Domestic Assault

A Frackville man is facing charges after an alleged domestic assault on Tuesday evening.
According to Frackville Police, on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, just after 11:0pm, Borough Police were dispatched to a home on N Railroad Ave for a domestic disturbance.

Upon arrival, officers met with a 40-year-old female victim who stated that her boyfriend, Joshua Rogers, 37, of Frackville assaulted her.

The victim stated that Rogers elbowed her repeatedly about her chest causing redness. She also stated that the assault continued with Rogers punching her in the chest which caused her to have pain in her chest and had trouble breathing.

After the assault, Rogers fled but later returned to the residence.

Officers were dispatched a second time to the residence. Again, Rogers attempted to flee the residence but was taken into custody without issue.

A criminal complaint was completed by Frackville Police Officer Brian Reno, charging Rogers with one count of simple assault pursuant to domestic violence.

Rogers was arraigned by on-call District Justice Reiley and released on $10,000.00 unsecured bail.
