Mahanoy Area would win 73-55 over Marian Catholic. This was Mahanoy's 2nd District XI Championship in just as many years.
Mahanoy Area enters the PIAA 2A Tournament this Saturday at home against Northwest Area with tipoff scheduled for 2:00pm.
Marian Catholic also plays Saturday in the Tournament against Sankofa Freedom at home at 3:00pm.
