Tri-Valley Lions Club Honors March Outstanding Student of the Arts


On Monday, March 18, 2024, the Tri-Valley Lions Club honored Kara Brown as their March 2024 Outstanding Student of the Arts. 

Kara was selected for her talent in the area of Handcrafted Art. Kara is the daughter of Lori and Kyle Brown. She resides in Klingerstown, PA. She is a senior at Tri-Valley High School in the agricultural curriculum. She shared with members and visitors present various crocheted, woodworking and ceramic projects she created. 

Throughout her high school career, she was captain of the color guard in the marching band, a member and president of the Tri-Valley High School FFA, and treasurer of the National Honor Society. 

For honors, she is a member of the Distinguished Honor Society and has been an officer of the FFA since 10th grade. Outside of school she is employed at Michael Foods. 

After graduation Kara plans to attend Penn State University Park to study animal science.
