PennDOT has announced several road work projects scheduled to take place next week in Schuylkill County.
PennDOT will be conducting road work on New Philadelphia Road and Mountain Road between Chestnut Road and Valley Streets. There will be lane restriction and flaggers while the work takes place. The work will take begin on Monday, April 22nd, and continue to April 26th, 2024, during the day from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Barry Township
Crack sealing will take place on Route 901 in Barry Township starting Monday, April 22nd, and continue to April 26th, 2024, during the day from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
East Union Township
Drainage improvement will take place on Route 924 between Swanks Road and Pumping Station Road and with lane restrictions in place. Workers will be on site from 7:00am to 3:00pm daily. The project is expected to last until May 1, 2024.
