Firefighters responded to an overnight garage fire in the City of Pottsville.
At 11:30pm, Friday, emergency personnel were called to a report of a garage fire of 310 South Jackson Street in Pottsville.
When the call came in, the garage was already fully engulfed, and a column of smoke was visible from across the City. A working fire was advised as they arrived.
Firefighters had the fire marked under control at 11:42am.
Early reports on the dispatch stated that the fire started when the property owner was putting gas into a vehicle inside the garage and the vehicle caught fire.
Units cleared the scene just after 1:00am.
