On Sunday, May 25th, 2025, the Gordon Fire Company held their 3rd Annual "Fighting 400" 5K.
Nearly 100 athletes competed in the race that wound it's way through the street's of the borough of Gordon.
Victor Hanley, of Barnesville, finished 1st with a time of 19:04 followed by Genevieve Dando, Matthew Schachte, Owen Mentzer, and Joey Tokarczyk to round out the top five.
Dando, 14, of Gordon, was the first female to cross the finish line. She was also the first female to cross the finish line last year.
The event supports the Gordon Fire Company.
