A total of 1,086 students are set to receive their degrees from East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania during three commencement ceremonies scheduled for May 9 and May 10.
Among the graduates are nine students from Schuylkill County, representing a variety of undergraduate and graduate programs.

East Stroudsburg University, part of the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education, was founded in 1893 as East Stroudsburg Normal School.
