An arrest warrant has been issued for a West Mahanoy Township man accused of robbery, theft, making terroristic threats, and harassment following a domestic dispute earlier this month.
According to court documents filed by the Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville, Christopher John Zukas, 34, is wanted on multiple charges stemming from an incident that occurred on June 15, 2025, at a residence on Mount Olive Boulevard in West Mahanoy Township.
Zukas is charged with the following offenses:
- Robbery – Take Property by Force (Felony 3rd Degree)
- Terroristic Threats with Intent to Terrorize Another (Misdemeanor 1st Degree)
- Theft by Unlawful Taking – Movable Property (Misdemeanor 2nd Degree)
- Receiving Stolen Property (Misdemeanor 2nd Degree)
- Harassment – Subjecting Another to Physical Contact (Summary Offense)
According to the criminal complaint, troopers responded to a report from a woman who stated that Zukas, her ex-boyfriend, forcibly took her cell phone during an argument at his residence around 6:00 AM on June 15. The woman reported that during the dispute, Zukas became enraged over suspicions that she had created an account on the website OnlyFans. As she attempted to show him on her phone that this was untrue, Zukas allegedly grabbed the device from her hand and refused to return it.
The woman further told police that Zukas threatened to kill her with a sledgehammer during the altercation, adding that he had access to such a tool in the home. After the incident, she fled the residence and contacted the Pennsylvania State Police from a friend’s house.
Troopers later attempted to make contact with Zukas at the Mount Olive Boulevard address but were unsuccessful. Multiple attempts to reach him by phone also failed.
Police noted in the affidavit that Zukas has a prior history of domestic-related incidents involving the same victim at the same address.
As of this report, Zukas remains wanted on the charges. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact the Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville by calling (570) 874-5300.
