Wendy S. Loftus, 69 years of age of Delano, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 31, 2025, at St. Luke's University Hospital Bethlehem.

Born Tuesday, November 22, 1955 in Shenandoah the daughter of the late Clarence and Dorothy (Garber) Cunningham. Wendy was also predeceased by her infant son Edward J. Martinson; sister, Louise Smith; brother, Norman Cunningham.

Surviving are; her beloved husband of 30 years, James P. Loftus; Sister, Claire Yarnell and her companion Mark; nieces and nephews, Kathy Sincavage, Tracy Weaver, Amanda Loftus, Lisa Karavage, Jennifer Arnold, Chris Noon, Josh and Jeremy Yarnell, John Sincavage, Michael Loftus; many great nieces and nephews also survive Wendy.

A 1973 graduate of Mahanoy City High School, Wendy earned an Associates in accounting from SIBT of Pottsville in 1998. Wendy retired from the maintenance department of the Hazleton School District, in 2022. An excellent cook, Wendy enjoyed tending to her garden with the constant companionship of her dog Joker.

Anne C. (Edmonds) Macalush
, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, 86 years of age of Tamaqua, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 31, 2025 at home while in the tender care of her family.

Born Friday, October 7, 1938 in Tamaqua the daughter of the late Thomas and Verna (Powers) Edmonds. Anne was also predeceased by her beloved husband of 62 years, Joseph T. Macalush on March 6, 2024; sister, Verna J. Campbell Feb. 8, 2017.

Surviving are sons, Todd Macalush and his wife Lisa, Darin Macalush and his wife Amy; daughter, Nicole Machay; brothers, John Edmonds and his wife Mary, Archie Edmonds and his wife Janice; grandchildren whom she adored, Abigail Machay, Ian Machay, and Haley Macalush.

A 1956 graduate of Tamaqua High School, Anne earned her beauticians certification from Empire Beauty School. A homemaker, Anne was a long time member of the Primitive Methodist Church of Tamaqua having sung in the choir and was an active member of the Ladies Aide.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pennsylvania 18252, (570) 668-2550

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday September 4, 2025 at 11 o'clock A.M. from the funeral home, Rev. Richard Clemson to officiate. Friends and family may visit from 9:30 A.M. until the time of services.

Interment will be in Sky-View Memorial Park, Tamaqua, Pennsylvania.

Mildred K. ' Millie' Stauffer
, 96, passed away in the comfort of her home in Zion Grove on Sunday, August 31, 2025.

Millie was a 1946 graduate of the former Ringtown High School, and a 1950 graduate of the East Stroudsburg State College (now the East Stroudsburg University). She taught health and physical education in the Dallas, Schuylkill Haven and Bloomsburg school districts. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, and in her younger years she taught Sunday School and served on the church consistory, and was also a member of the Old White Church Preservation Committee.

She was also a member of the Ringtown American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, since 1958.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Allen R. Stauffer, Sr. in March of 2025. The youngest of 13 siblings, she was also preceded in death by sisters Grace Hart, Neta Readinger, Ada Manbeck, Evelyn Hart, Sadie Webb, Viola Hart and Leah Thompson, along with brothers Franklin, Allen, Charles, Willis and Edward Hart.

Millie is survived by her son, Allen R. Stauffer, Jr. and his wife Susan; and her daughter, Alice, wife of Robert Dippel.

A granddaughter, Gail, wife of Robin Becker and a grandson Joseph Stauffer and his wife Donna, also survive along with two great grandsons, James and Joseph Becker, as well as numerous nieces and nephews,

In accordance with Millie's wishes, there will be no public services, and in lieu of flowers, donations in Mille's memory can be made to the Old White Church Preservation Committee, 5 Nye Road, Zion Grove, PA 17985 or the Nuremberg-Weston Fire Company, the Ringtown Fire Company or the Sheppton-Oneida Fire Company,
