Born in Pottsville, April 7, 1956, he was the son of the late Paul and Margaret (Chernosky) Mabry. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Robert "Clutch" Mabry, and nieces Michelle Barr and Jennifer Hummel.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Denise Kulpcavage Mabry, his three children, Son, David Mabry Branchdale, and daughters Erica Mabry (fiancé Dan Tobash) Jonestown, Amanda (husband Paul Noon) Minersville. Six grandchildren, Mallari, Kael, Jonah, Malena, Makenna, and Ryan. Brothers Paul (Sharon Mabry), James (Cathy Mabry), Sisters Evelyn Webber, Marlene Harris, Bridget Mabry, and sister-in-law Pinky Mabry. Numerous nieces and nephews that he loved dearly, Gary lived a life full of love, hard work, and unwavering devotion to his family and friends. He had a heart of gold and was always the first to lend a helping hand, whether it was fixing a car, tackling a home project, or just being there when someone needed him. Often seen traveling in his Ford Ranger, he loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and playing darts for the South Cass and Branchdale Fire Companies. A skilled craftsman, he worked as a carpenter and was known for his dedication and knowledge.
Friends may call from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday the 15th at Dutcavich Funeral Home and Cremation Care, 200 Sunbury Street, Minersville, PA 17954. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to American Cancer Society, AstraZeneca, Hope Lodge, 110 West Laurel Avenue, Cheltenham, PA 19012.

Gerald J. “Jerry” Freiler, 89, of Ashland passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, September 10th with his loving family by his side.
Born in Ashland, he was a son of the late Joseph and Doris (Davis) Freiler. He worked as a machine operator for Tri-State Envelope, Ashland and was the operator who made the very first envelope. He then worked in the maintenance department for North Schuylkill School District until the age of 78 before retiring.
Jerry was a United States Air Force Veteran having served during the Korean War.
He was an avid Phillies and Eagles fan his entire life attending many games and stadiums to see his beloved Philadelphia teams play. He loved golfing and enjoyed playing a round every Saturday.
He was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Parish and the American Hose Co., both of Ashland.
Overall, Jerry was a loving, caring and kind husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather who enjoyed coaching his kids, cheering on his grandchildren and being the supportive rock of the family.
Jerry is survived by his wife of 64 years, Janette (Aaron) Freiler; his son, Jerry Freiler and his wife Susan of Murrell’s Inlet, SC; his daughter Mary Ann Henning and her husband Ron of Ashland; his grandchildren: Nicole, Ryan, Meghan, Morgan and Clary; his great-granddaughter, Malina; also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Private graveside services will be held at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made, in Jerry’s name, to the American Hose Company at 639 Walnut Street, Ashland, PA 17921.

Vicki G Harman, age 67, of Hegins, passed away Tuesday, September 9, 2025 at her residence.
She was born on Wednesday, September 18, 1957, in Elkton, MD.
Vicki was a 1975 graduate of Elkton High School.
She was a member of St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, Valley View.
Vicki enjoyed spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by a son, Clinton J Harman, and a sister, Margaret Finger.
She is survived by her husband Mark J Harman, to whom she was married for 45 years.
She is also survived by a son, Clair M (Aleesha) Harman of Hegins; a daughter, Charlene (Matt) Spicher of Valley View; three grandsons, Riley Harman, Logan Harman, and Kal Harman; and two granddaughters, Addison Spicher and Avery Spicher.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
