Helen was born in Duncott, on October 23, 1926, a daughter of the late Anna (Evanchi) and John Malenich.
She was a member of St. Matthew the Evangelist church, Minersville, and the former St. Stanislaus Kostka Church.
Helen was a former seamstress working in the local garment industry.
Helen is survived by a daughter, Rosemary Kosinski, a son, Edward Kosinski. Helen is also survived by nieces and nephews.
She was the last of the Malenich family.
A Visitation will be held 9:00:00 to 10:30 AM on Thursday, September 18th at Mahal-Ritzel Funeral Home Inc. in Minersville followed by a Funeral Service of Christian Burial at 10:30 with the Reverend Leo J. Maletz officiating.
Interment St. Stanislaus Kostka #2 Cemetery .
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Char-Will Kennels 2 E Railroad Ave. New Ringgold, PA 17960.

Margaret F. "Marge" Angelozzi, age 84, formerly of New Boston passed away Friday at Providence Place in Pottsville.
Born in Hazleton she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Helen (Melnick) Fazio and was a 1959 graduate of W. Hazleton High School. She and her husband operated the former Coral Drive Inn in Mahanoy City and Marge last worked in housekeeping at Coaldale Hospital. A hard working and loving wife and mother her home could always be filled with the aroma of home made food and baked goods. Marge loved to dance and she and her husband could ever so gracefully stroll the floor. For many years she was an active member of the Republican National Committee. She was a member of St. Teresa of Calcutta Church in Mahanoy City. Preceding her in death in addition to her parents were her husband Dominick C. Angelozzi and sisters Helen Delassandro, Sylvia Tulasky and Antoinette Fazio. She is survived by a daughter Domenica Angelozzi of Wilmington DE, a son Dominick C. "Charlie" Angelozzi of Pottsville, a granddaughter Nicole Murphy as well as nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside service to be officiated by the Rev. Kevin P. Gallagher of Friday morning at 11 AM from Sacred Heart Cemetery in Mahanoy Township. Contributions in Mage's name to the Mahanoy City Public Library, 17 W. Mahanoy Ave., Mahanoy City, PA 17948 would be appreciated by the family.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside service to be officiated by the Rev. Kevin P. Gallagher of Friday morning at 11 AM from Sacred Heart Cemetery in Mahanoy Township. Sally A. Bednar, 88, of Barnesville passed away Thursday afternoon September 11th at Greenwood Center for Nursing & Rehab in Hometown.

Alma J. Wirt, 91, of Tower City passed away peacefully early Saturday morning, September 13, 2025 at Heritage Mill Personal Care Home, Tower City.
Alma was born in Tower City, Saturday, May 12, 1934, a daughter of the late Earl and Evelyn Masterson Shutt. She was a 1952 graduate of Porter High School.
Following high school, she was employed as a phone operator with Bell Telephone. She then went on to work as a seamstress in the local garment factories.
Alma was an active member of the Christ United Methodist Church, Tower City, where she was a member and former president of the Women's Guild. She was the flower steward, and a vital part of the kitchen committee. Alma was also a former member of the Sheridan Fire Company Auxiliary.
Above all she will be remembered as a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Her family always remained her top priority, supporting them all throughout her life. She never missed an opportunity to volunteer with her children's activities in school.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Keith Wirt Sr., 1997.
Surviving are her five children, Stephen Wirt, Williamstown, Barbara Wirt, Tower City, Diane English (Joe), Muir, Betty Bettinger, Jonestown, and Keith Wirt, Jr., Tower City; four grandchildren, Jayme, Patrick, Jordan and Joey; a great great grandson, Henry Patrick Wirt; a sister, Janice Walkenshaw, Tower City, and two brothers, Earl Shutt (Sharon), Oklahoma, and Thomas Shutt (Karen), Tower City; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September, September 17, 2025 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home. Viewing will be from 10-11. Alma will be laid to rest alongside her husband in the Greenwood Cemetery, Tower City.
Memorial donations in Alma's memory can be made to the Christ United Methodist Church, 400 E Grand Avenue, Tower City, PA 17980.
