The Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville are investigating an accidental death that occurred in Walker Township, Schuylkill County, on Friday afternoon.
According to a public information release, Troopers were dispatched to Carbon Lane on October 17, 2025, at approximately 4:48 p.m. to assist the Walker Township Fire Company.
Upon arrival and through investigation, authorities determined that a 92-year-old man from New Tripoli had died as the result of a suspected drowning and exposure.
The victim’s name has not yet been released. Police noted that the case is being treated as an accidental death, and the investigation remains ongoing.
